Harper College to Have a Harper Hawk Idol Contest in Honor of Haley Reinhart

Haley is doing so well on American Idol that the college she went to back in Wheeling has decided to have their own Harper Hawk Idol Contest complete with a band and judges.

... [Haley Reinhart's] success on the show has inspired the Harper Campus Activities Board to sponsor the first Harper Hawk Idol Contest from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 11 in the Quad area of campus. Reinhart performed with Harper's Jazz ensemble and Jazz lab while a student there in 2009 and 2010. "We'll take up to 15 contestants on a first come, first served basis," Aaron Wagner, a graphic artist major from Buffalo Grove who is organizing the event, said in a press release. ...
